Italian Salt-Glazed Terracotta Urn and Plinth c.1920

A sublime and elegant Italian terracotta garden urn and matching plinth. c.1920 Salt-glazed plinth and sectional top in a soft Naples yellow. The urn has elongated acanthus leaves decorating its’ body and lobed naturalist handles. Over-painted many times, giving a beautiful surface patination.
