An enormous Arts & Crafts fountain which could also be used as a dramatic statement centrepiece urn/planter. This rare and unique cast iron fountain basin, still with much of its original paint - is a truly one-off piece. Decorated with acanthus leaves, foliate decoration and berries in a typical Arts & Crafts design, it’s hexagonal form hints towards the geometrics of the Aesthetic Movement. Because of its grand scale, not only could it be used as a cascading and spouting fountain, but would make an impressive centrepiece planter. Originally from a grand Country Estate garden in South West England.
