French Faux Bois Girondelle Mirror

An outstanding rare and unusually large ‘Faux Bois’ French Girondelle mirror. c.1840. Surmounted by a delicate putti figure, the extravagant and extraordinary frame is a mass of foliate scrolls, floral garlands and symbolic fruits. Lovely patina and wear associated with age. Fit for a King!
