"Still life composition or 'Opus'. The bowl is a pottery Roman bowl, simply and freely made, feels like its barely been touched by hand. But it still remains, illuminated by light, holding precious once-rare lemons. Its existence is incredible...how it is still with us after all the time past..I think of all the shifting sands and ebbing tides."
