A mid 20th Century lost wax bronze Cherub sculpture. Created using the traditional technique of lost-wax (à la Cire Perdue) which allows great precision of detail, enabling the translation of this delightful depiction of a cherub or Cupid. Beautiful patination and verdigris. With highly expressive curvature to the wings, and wonderful detail of within the face and feathers. The sculpture would hang in a garden or interior.
